'Tis the season for paradise! Grab that glam bag and throw in your favorite maxi dresses, swimsuits, fitflops, a few stilettos and hit the airport for some much needed R&R! No matter where you are heading, I am sure the beach breeze is calling your name. In response, we have to mention that we have found the cutest, most luxurious of fabrics and vibrant of colors, while figure flattering of cuts resort wear.

Just being cute is simply not enough when you are traveling, so the resort wear we have on our minds is very particular and must hold up to certain conditions. Here's what we look for in the most perfect travel friendly garments:

It must not wrinkle. However, if it does, the wrinkle must come out looking like a crinkle, so that it looks even better crunched than smooth.
It must be luxurious and have lightweight fabric that won't make you sweat but let your skin breath. You are traveling to feel rejuvenated, not choked. The garment needs to flow with the breeze and feel light as a feather. You want to feel like you are wearing nothing at all, but still be stylish (because in reality there is a dress on that body!)
It must have rich colors that will not only brighten your day but your skin tone and eyes bringing a smile on your face where you go.
It must have a cut with just enough stretch that it is not only figure flattering but is also easy to move in. A garment that glides with you, not pulls on you.

A Look At Who’s Next Paris

Who's Next Paris: "Undoubtedly one of the most important fashion fairs at the moment," said Spain's high fashion clothing line Savage Culture. We agreed and that's why we hit the airways on a 380-passenger Boeing non-stop from New York to Paris and landed on a rainy and rather chilly 4th of July Friday. Hard to maintain a sexy hairdo with raincoats covering our delicious dresses, but nonetheless our buyers made their way to Who's Next!

We were met with cool and innovative backdrops, amature and professional fashion designers as well as Turkish Delight sweets with champagne at very corner to keep the energy flowing and the spirits high. 2,000 brands of garments and accessories on display distinguished only by location lounges and divided into descriptors: Fame, Ready-to-Wear, Premiere Classes and Accessories. Oh and there was a guest nation too: Turkey, "The new Turkish design scene was celebrated through exhibitions, performance art, an exclusive selection of Turkish brands, a pop-up store full of unique, handmade crafts; visiting restaurants from Istanbul; and finally the parties hosted by the most sought-after DJs and musicians from the Bosphorus’ shores," said trade show designers of The Who.

As our buyers blazed through this endless island of fashion, they had only one priority in mind: discovering designs that would enrich the lives of all of you fashion passionates.
