I can’t believe it is that time of the year again when we contemplate the colors in our wardrobe and decide if it satisfies our hunger for luck in the new year! We are about to embark on the year 2019, which is the year of the pig. It is the 12th zodiac sign according to the Chinese calendar or Feng Shui. The pig, as interesting of an animal as it is, comes from the water, fire and metal elements. Therefore, to encourage luck in the new year, we recommend wearing colors from these elements. The luckiest color for 2019 is Blue as it symbolizes the water element and the secondary colors are Red, White, Platinum and Gold.

It’s almost that time again when we want to know what colors will bring a whirlwind of luck into our lives. The new year is just a few weeks away and this is the year of the Dog. The Dog, an earth sign, consists of five elements: Water, Fire, Wood, Metal and Earth. Those that can relate to the earth element will find themselves calmer, creative and cared for. To bring yourself closer to earth, the Feng Shui colors for 2018 are Green as this color represents the wood element along with Blue and Black. You may remember that last year at this time we mentioned the Fire colors: Red, Gold and White. This year for a reasonable amount of luck and fun, feel good when you wish to wear fire colors once more as these too are part of the earth element.

Ahh, the spring air is approaching and the cherry trees are blossoming! It’s our favorite season here at Wild Curves. The hot hues that we love so much on our sexy dresses, tunics, and leggings are all around us now. Just look out your window or go for a relaxing stroll outside and peek at the colorful petals making their way out of the Spring buds on mocha branches. The hot hues engulf our eyes and the sweet breeze of the blossoming season seeps into our noses and lungs and we feel alive again. It’s just about that time to put our warm coats and dark colors away and slip into lighter, brighter more invigorating looks, so we too can be as lively and fresh as mother nature. What will we wear this Spring? Creme Whites, Fuchsia Pinks, Sky Blues, Light Mochas, Tasty Turquoises, Rich Fire Orange and even our classics Midnight Indigos and Beauty Blacks. Slipping into Cottons, Silks, Linens and Nylons never feels as good as it does after the Winter Blues ends and the Spring Sunshine begins.
